Marko Obradović (1998) is a visual artist from Belgrade, Serbia. His practice includes painting, printmaking, installation and video. Obradović’s exploration centres on ephemeral qualities of identity and spirituality. His pieces function as scene studies that immerse his subjects in liminal scenarios, creating speculative narratives. Themes of abjection, trans-humanism and esotericism are at the centre of his practice. Marko graduated from the painting department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. He has had various shows in the prior years, both local and international, some of which were group shows at Eugster || Belgrade (Belgrade, 2022), Kula Gallery, in collaboration with Voždovačka galerija (Belgrade, 2022), a group presentation at Vienna Contemporary (2023), and recent solo shows at De Bouwput gallery (Amsterdam, 2022) and at CEJLA (Brno, 2023), with the next showcase being part of a group show in Berlinskej Model space, in Prague, in November 2024. His works have been acquired by LUKOWA Art Foundation.
