November 20 – 27, 2019 // Kombank Dvorana (Dom Sindikata)

We are pleased to invite you to the exhibition “Kino” by our artist Vladimir Miladinović.
Opening ceremony will take place on November 20, at 18.30.
The exhibition will be opened by Stevan Vuković, an art theorist, and Vladimir Miladinović, the author of the exhibition.

“Kino” is an exhibition commissioned by Lumbardhi Foundation form Prizren in support to the process of building and interpreting the archive of Lumbardhi Cinema. The artist was invited to research and interact with the archive of Lumbardhi Cinema, bringing a multi-faceted narrative spanning five decades of the life of the institution. Applying his method of drawing reproductions of selected visuals and written archival materials which have been suppressed or marginalized into the collective memory of small communities, Miladinović shows moments and relationships from the daily life of an institution dedicated to the dissemination of values, norms and practices to masses through film.
The project was developed and produced in partnership with Forum ZFD in Kosovo and Forum ZFD in Serbia with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The research for this exhibition has been supported by the Foundation for Arts Initiatives.
